Data Management Specialist
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Data Management Specialist (full-time position) to cover maternity leave through March 31, 2027, to drive the company’s strategic transformation through effective data management. The successful candidate will help shape data management standards and processes and collaborate with various departments to shape the future of wealth management.
Tasks
- Take on the challenge of overseeing this area during the maternity leave replacement period until the end of March 2027
- Helping to develop and monitor data management standards and processes
- Helping to develop and monitor bank-wide data product standards and processes
- Close collaboration with representatives from front-office business units and supporting functions such as Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and IT
- Enabling and co-creating business data models in accordance with corporate, industry, and architectural standards
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in the natural sciences, business informatics, banking, or finance
- Several years of experience in metadata management, data dictionaries, information architecture, data lines, reference data, and business glossaries
- Experience in the financial sector, banking sector
- Familiarity with data modeling and data management tools in general (data dictionary, data lineage, etc.)
- "Can-do" attitude
- Strong in collaboration and advocacy, building an effective stakeholder network across divisions and regions
- Feeling comfortable with challenging the status quo and managing escalations at every level
