Data Management Specialist
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Data Management Specialist (full-time position) to cover maternity leave through March 31, 2027, to drive the company’s strategic transformation through effective data management. The ideal candidate has experience in the financial industry, data management and modeling, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
Tasks
- Taking on the challenge of advancing this initiative during the maternity leave replacement period through the end of March 2027
- Helping to develop and monitor data management standards and processes
- Helping to develop and monitor bank-wide data product standards and processes
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in the fields of natural sciences, business informatics, banking, or finance
- Several years of experience in metadata management, data dictionaries, information architecture, data lines, reference data, and business glossaries
- Experience in the financial industry, particularly in the banking sector
- Familiarity with data modeling and data management tools (data dictionary, data lineage, etc.)
- "Can-do" attitude
- Strong ability to collaborate and exert influence, and the ability to build an effective network of stakeholders across departments and regions
- Well-being in the face of challenges to the status quo and in managing escalations at all levels
- A good team player who enjoys their work and naturally drives change
- Fluency in English and German would be an advantage
