Data Platform Manager (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Data Platform Manager to oversee the technical management and lifecycle of a global data platform (Data Lake House) and ensure that it meets business requirements, architectural standards, and operational resilience. The successful candidate will be part of an agile team and will be responsible for the platform’s technical direction, development, and operational performance.
Tasks
As Data Platform Manager, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and lifecycle management of a global data platform (Data Lake House). Your responsibilities include:- Technical leadership and lifecycle management of the data platform
- Support with technical decisions and solution design
- Management of the platform's technical development and operations
- Contributing to the platform's technical roadmap
- Planning and Coordination of Application Releases
- Monitoring of platform infrastructure and data development activities
- Provision of third-level support and master data custodian
- Management of supplier relationships for third-party applications
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- At least 8 years of experience with data platforms, data lakes, or data lakehouses (Kubernetes, Kafka, distributed storage such as S3/HDFS)
- Several years of experience in a similar position in the financial industry
- Experience in the technical management of data platforms and the administration of the entire platform lifecycle
