Data Program Engineer

Tasks

• Responsible for optimizing existing and new projects in collaboration with the business unit.
• Managing relationships with end users, with a focus on setting expectations and maintaining enthusiasm for the project.
• Close collaboration with key business partners throughout the entire project development lifecycle.
• Establishing standards for data integrity testing, developing documentation, views, and code best practices to enhance institutional business processes and capabilities.
• Development of Snowflake storage capabilities to support data-driven decisions and processes.
• Establishing engineering best practices, automating data processing and integration pipelines, and further developing data engineering and orchestration within the data lake to enable more sophisticated analyses and business reports.
• Sharing clear, actionable insights and robust documentation with key stakeholders.
• Development of and contribution to the architectural strategy and its components.
• Cross-functional collaboration with other engineering teams (data) in a layered environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with clients from both the data and business sides to gather requirements and design systems to meet project needs.

Requirements

• Prioritizing Skills in .NET and/or Python Software Development.
• Experience developing data-driven solutions on Snowflake for complex business needs.
• Extensive expertise in the development of data management programs—data models using SQL.
• Expert in complex data analysis, ETL processes, and data warehouse applications.
• Expert in the management and development of large datasets, data modeling, and data structures, preferably in Snowflake.
• Proactive, ambitious, and self-reliant, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Effective communicator.
• Strong background knowledge of relational databases and data management.
• An understanding of business and technical requirements, as well as the skills needed to achieve these goals.
• Prioritizing data integrity, manageability, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of data science methodologies and experience in statistical analysis.
• In-depth understanding of relational and NoSQL data, data semantics, ETL processes, and applications.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of data and analytics technologies (data visualization platforms, GCP, AWS, or another business intelligence tool).
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States now or in the future without the need for sponsorship (based on citizenship).

• Salary range: $151,420 - $149,750 USD.

• Pay depends on several factors, which can vary depending on location, skills, job duties, and position.
