Data Scientist/Economist in the Economic Data Science team (50%)
Your contribution
- Development, provision and maintenance of pipelines for data analysis tools, especially in the areas of machine learning (ML), network analysis and big data;
- Supporting the team in the introduction and further development of new IT tools;
- Collaboration in the preparation of forecasts and analyses for the preparation of monetary policy.
Your knowledge and experience
- Completed Master's degree or doctorate in economics, statistics, mathematics or a related field with a quantitative focus;
- Interest in monetary policy or economic topics;
- Experience in the development and deployment of ML pipelines, expertise in data modeling, data processing and analysis;
- Very good knowledge of object-oriented programming with Python;
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Git, CICD platforms);
- Business fluent in German or French as well as English.
