Job Description
The DataOps Service & Governance Engineer position is part of the DataOps team in Geneva. The primary responsibility is to ensure the reliable and efficient management of all data interfaces supported by our data platform.Focus areas of work
- Coordinating operational activities related to data integration services - Monitoring and ensuring the smooth operation of business processes - Creating, maintaining, and continuously improving documentation and operational processes - Collaborating with IT, production support, and business teams to strengthen governance around data integration processes - Ensuring traceability, consolidation, and regular analysis of performance indicators - Preparing for and contributing to regular service reviews and reporting - Improving internal team performance by gathering stakeholder feedback and identifying opportunities for optimizationRequirements and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in operational governance, document management, service management, or PMO roles in a data center or IT environment
- Proven experience in managing and monitoring SLAs and SOPs
- Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience in tracking performance metrics, preparing service quality reports, and presenting results
- Strong understanding of data integration and data platform environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
