Data architect
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is looking for a Data Architect to play a central role in the definition and implementation of the bank-wide data architecture and to ensure the coherence, interoperability and sustainability of data-related solutions. The Data Architect will be particularly involved in the definition of architecture standards, collaboration with different teams and data governance.
Job description
Tasks
- Definition and maintenance of the objectives of the data architecture (modeling, data flows, catalogs, etc.)
- Development of architecture standards according to the TOGAF framework
- Collaborate with IT, sales and project teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions
- Participation in data governance (quality, security, documentation, compliance with legal regulations, especially in the banking sector)
- Maintaining the coherence of technological decisions (cloud, data warehouse, data lake, MDM, etc.)
- Contribution to the evaluation of new technologies and technological monitoring
Requirements
- Training in business informatics and/or information systems or equivalent training
- Several years of experience in data architecture in a complex environment (ideally in banking or in a highly regulated industry)
- Mastery of the principles of enterprise architecture including certification or experience with TOGAF (or equivalent)
- Good understanding of the concepts of data governance, security, data protection and banking regulation
- Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders from business, IT and security
- Holistic thinking, accuracy, analytical skills and communication skills
- German mother tongue with very good knowledge of French
