Deferred Compensation Specialist (Full-Time)

The Deferred Compensation Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing a new global Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) as well as administering deferred compensation programs at Julius Baer in Zurich. The role requires a combination of operational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as experience with deferred compensation programs and share plan administration.

The role of Deferred Compensation Specialist involves overseeing the implementation and management of a new global Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) as well as the administration of deferred compensation programs.

Tasks

The main tasks include:
  • The implementation and administration of the new global ESPP
  • The Administration of Deferred Compensation Programs
  • Monitoring and Reconstructing Employee Contributions
  • Coordination with the Share Plan Administrator and internal stakeholders
  • The development of operational procedures and training materials

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:
  • A basic understanding of deferred compensation programs (equity-based and cash-based)
  • Knowledge of financial, accounting, tax, legal, and compliance regulations
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and execution skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a logical and agile mindset
  • Fluent in German and English
