Job description

We are looking for an experienced Deferred Compensation Specialist to take on the end-to-end management of Julius Baer's global deferred compensation programs.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Strategic Planning, Design, and Governance Support: Review and Improvement of Existing Deferred Compensation Frameworks
• End-to-End Program Management: Responsibility for the Entire Lifecycle of Deferred Compensation Plans
• Stakeholder Engagement and Consulting: Primary point of contact for employees, managers, and cross-functional partners
• Operational Efficiency with a Control Mindset: Balancing Strategic Responsibilities and Operational Efficiency
• Global Compliance and Risk Monitoring: Ensuring Strict Compliance with International Tax Regulations
• Process Innovation and Digitalization: Continuous Improvement Through Technology Enablement
• Governance and Control Excellence: Supporting global oversight through the preparation and review of planning and contract documentation

Requirements

The ideal candidates will have:

• Advanced degree in business administration, finance, or law, with at least 4 years of experience in the design and administration of equity or deferred compensation plans
• Deferred Compensation Expertise: Demonstrable knowledge of cash- and equity-based deferral mechanisms
• Technical Expertise: Extensive familiarity with HR information systems (particularly Workday), equity tracking software (particularly EquatePlus), and related reporting tools
• Fluency in German and English
