The role involves strategic planning, operational execution, compliance, and the digitization of processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Tasks

  • Strategic Planning, Design, and Governance Support: Play a key role in reviewing and improving the global deferred compensation framework—submit proposals for regulatory advice based on regulatory developments, market practices, or internal feedback. Prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured governance documentation for presentation to the Executive Board and the Board of Directors.
  • End-to-End Program Management: Take full responsibility for the entire lifecycle of deferred compensation plans—from design to implementation—while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Consulting: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and business owners (HR, Compliance, Legal, Tax, etc.) as well as external stakeholders, and provide clear guidance on award mechanics, tax implications, and the interpretation of policies.
  • Operational Precision with a Control Mindset: Balancing strategic responsibilities with operational execution—effectively reviewing transactions, performing data verification and troubleshooting, and ensuring that global operations run smoothly—all while keeping long-term improvements in sight.
  • Global Compliance and Risk Monitoring: Ensure strict compliance with international tax regulations, securities laws, and financial reporting standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to optimize processes, reduce manual errors, and improve the user experience across all jurisdictions and operational units.
  • Process Innovation and Digital Transformation: Drive continuous improvement through the use of technology—evaluate, implement, and optimize external platforms such as Workday and E*Trade to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the user experience.
  • Governance and Control Excellence: Support global oversight by preparing and reviewing documentation, contract documents, regulatory filings, and reports. Maintain comprehensive records to meet internal and external audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Development of strong strategic organizational skills, agility, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail, along with the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining accuracy and service levels.
  • Working Effectively in Times of Change—Whether Driven by Regulation, Reorganization, or Evolving Business Priorities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with uncompromising standards of precision.
  • A structured thinker with strong organizational skills who thrives in complex, regulated environments.
  • A results-oriented self-starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • An excellent communicator—able to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently, even across time zones or organizational levels.
  • A high degree of discretion and integrity in the processing of sensitive, executive data.
  • A team player who is eager to continue learning, growing, and developing in the role and in the broader field of rewards and compensation.
