Depository Oversight Officer (M/F)

Education and Experience

Master's degree in business, law, or finance. Contract type: Permanent. At least 3–5 years of professional experience.

Expected Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in the fund industry (depositary bank / management company)
• More than 1 year of experience in alternative funds: hedge funds, private equity, and credit
• Extensive knowledge of the fund industry and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders such as the AMF/MARCO, fund management companies, the CSSF, etc.
• A good understanding of the key Luxembourg regulations governing investment funds, in particular those of the AMF and Circular 16/07
• Excellent analytical and reading skills for working documents and financial reports
• Very good knowledge of capital market products

Your tasks

• Establishment and management of the various monitoring obligations in the following areas: monitoring of cash flows and transactions
• Regular monitoring of counterparties for non-financial and non-conservable assets through risk tracking and exposure
• Organization of account monitoring exercises (Macau/AMF) and on-site visits
• Management of transactions between the custodian bank, the fund, and the operational division
• Regular preparation of KPIs and board packs for the fund’s senior management and executive board
• Participation in adapting processes and procedures to changes in laws, guidelines, and regulations
• Supporting and ensuring the proper application of Group policies in collaboration with the Legal Department and the various oversight committees
• An active member of the custodian bank's first line of defense
