Deputy Chief Risk Officer M/F

The Deputy Chief Risk Officer supports the Chief Risk Officer in identifying, measuring, and controlling risks within the bank and helps to ensure that the company's risk profile is maintained. The position requires at least 10 years of experience in risk management and includes responsibility for implementing risk management strategies and leading projects.

missions

You will serve as assistant to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in the division's Risk Management Department:
  • Credit Administration and Monitoring
  • Credit Risk
  • Market, Investment, and Operational Risk
In this context, you will work with the CRO to ensure:
  • Anticipating, detecting, measuring, monitoring, controlling, and reporting risks inherent in the division's activities to ensure that the risk appetite defined by the Group is respected.
More specifically, you have:
  • Responsibility for risk management and the role of deputy in the managerial functions of the CRO.
  • Responsibility for the proper application of controls, the smooth running of project management, sensitive matters, and the quality of data within the scope of the Bank's entire activity and the entities under control.
  • Participate in mapping the Bank, anticipating escalation needs with regard to management and remedying the issues raised.

Requirements

  • You hold a master's degree or a business school diploma with at least 10 years of successful experience in risk management.
  • You have at least 10 years of successful experience in risk management.

Compétences recherchées

  • You have excellent analytical skills and strategic vision.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of regulatory provisions relating to risk management and implementation methodologies.
  • Ideally, you have several years of successful managerial experience, preferably in an international context.
  • You have skills in project management, risk management, and governance principles.
  • You hold a master's degree in wealth management or similar qualifications.
  • Excellent communication at all levels of the company and good interpersonal networks.
  • An excellent ability to take initiative, be proactive, persuade and share knowledge, and build teams.

Computer tools and languages

  • You are proficient in office software, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • You speak French and English fluently; proficiency in another European language is an asset.
