DEPUTY HEAD OF THE CONTROL ROOM
Leonteq is seeking a Deputy Head of the Control Room (100%) in Zurich who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with trading rules, monitoring conflicts of interest, and providing compliance advice to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, at least three years of experience in a trading-related control role, and be fluent in German and English.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deputy to the Global Head of the Control Room
- Ensuring Compliance with SIX Swiss Exchange / BX Exchange Trading Rules and Reporting Requirements for Listed Companies and Significant Holdings
- Monitoring, analyzing, and implementing regulatory changes
- Handling, monitoring, and reporting of conflicts of interest and matters related to employee conduct.
- Trade surveillance, analysis of trading and sales activities, rules and regulations governing contractual agreements
- Maintenance of the watchlist/restricted list; fund and ETF approvals
- Handling inquiries from FINMA, SIX, and BX, as well as any other authority or exchange
- Responsibility for the Global Policy Framework
- Administrative support in several areas (Operational Risk, ICS, etc.)
- Support for the Board, the Executive Committee, Trading and Sales, and other business areas in matters related to compliance
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A university degree or equivalent education with a focus on trading, compliance, or banking
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a trading-related control function
- Very good proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), strong IT skills
- Very good analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, confident, and able to work at all levels
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels
- Fluency in German and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
