• Maintaining contractual relationships with brokers and banks
• M&A consulting for the technical configuration of the order routing system on the trading side
• Back office testing of trades and monitoring of execution
• Trade execution: Independent execution of trades in various asset classes (e.g. equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange)
• Market surveillance: Continuous monitoring and analysis of financial markets, macroeconomic developments, and price movements
• IT and technical support: Close cooperation with portfolio managers to ensure timely implementation of trading decisions and optimal execution

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk with additional qualifications (EFA, banking academy, or similar) or university degree
• Successfully passed stock exchange trader exam
• Several years of experience in trading equities, bonds, FX
• Market and product risks (e.g., asset allocation/management)
• Ideally, basic knowledge of securities settlement with a focus on settlement/custody
• Project management and extensive knowledge of how standard trading software works, currently the WP2 systems from DekaBank and EOE/IDE from the software provider Foocus Trading.
• Efficient and highly competent at the interface between the specialist department and IT
• Empathic team player with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a retail environment
