Tasks

• Maintaining contractual relationships with brokers and banks
• M&A consulting for the specialist department: design and implementation of the order routing system on the trading side
• Back-office testing of trades and verification of execution
• Trade settlement of proprietary trading positions: Execution of trading orders in various asset classes (e.g. equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange)
• Market monitoring: Permanent observation and analysis of the financial markets in order to identify trading and price movements
• Trading controlling: Close cooperation with portfolio management for the purpose of implementing trading decisions and ensuring optimal execution
• Risk and compliance management: adherence to regulatory requirements, monitoring of trading activities and ensuring a controlled trading environment
• Use of technology: operation and optimization of modern trading systems and platforms to increase efficiency in trading
• Reporting: Preparation of reports and analysis on trading activity and regulatory communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Teamwork: Close cooperation with other trading and analysts to create synergies in the trading process

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk with additional qualification (EFM Bankakademie or similar) or university degree
• Successfully passed stock exchange trader exam
• Several years of experience in trading equities, bonds, FX
• Market and product knowledge usually asset sales / custody
• Ideally basic knowledge of securities processing with a focus on settlement/custody
• Project and change competence
