Developer in Test / QA Automation Engineer
As a QA Automation Engineer at Julius Baer in Zurich, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality of software developments. The position is advertised as a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Tasks
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will become part of our ART team. Your primary goal will be to work with the development team to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure quality and- Creation of necessary automated scripts
- Navigating the complex banking environment with its many dependencies
- Setup, monitoring, and maintenance of automated test scripts at various test stages during software development
- Risk-based testing mentality
- Ability to perform continuous and robust testing across the CI/CD pipeline
- Ability to maintain standard agile and testing tools such as Jira, XRAY, IntelliJ
Requirements
- Experience in test automation for multiple technical platforms (React, Java GUI, Temenos, API layer, database)
- Ability to work with multiple testing tools (Cypress, Cucumber/Selenium, STEP, K6, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright)
- Ability to communicate in English; German is a plus
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus
- Proactive attitude
- Strong commitment to the quality of the project
- Stakeholder management and coordination between stakeholders
