Developer in Test / QA Automation Engineer
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality of software developments. The position is for 12 months with the possibility of extension and offers the opportunity to work in a complex banking environment.
Tasks
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of our ART team. Your primary goal will be to work with the development team to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure quality.- Create necessary automated scripts
- Navigating the complex banking environment with many dependencies
- Set up, monitor, and maintain automated test scripts at various test levels during software development.
- Risk-based testing mentality
- Be able to drive continuous and robust testing across the CI/CD pipeline
- Be able to maintain standard agile and testing tools – Jira, XRAY, IntelliJ
- Experience in test automation for multiple technical platforms (React, Java GUI, Temenos, API layer, database)
- Be able to work with multiple testing tools (Cypress, Cucumber/Selenium, STEP, K6, Tosca, Selenium, Playwright)
Requirements
- Be able to communicate in English; German is a plus
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus
- Proactive attitude
- Strong commitment to the quality of the project
- Stakeholder management and coordination between stakeholders
