Developer - Trading to Core Banking System Integration 80% - 100% (m/f/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start for 12 months with possible extension)

Your challenge

• Developing, configuring and maintaining APIs, services and data interfaces between trading and core banking systems
• Implementing transformations and data validation logic to ensure consistency and completeness of the transferred information
• Work from detailed technical specifications and field mappings to deliver robust integration solutions
• Participation in code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) activities
• Troubleshooting and resolution of defects or integration issues during the SIT/UAT and production deployment phases
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to refine designs and ensure alignment with corporate standards
• Maintaining clear and structured documentation for all developed integration components

Your profile

• 8+ years of development background with experience in system-to-system integration within financial services
• Familiarity with relevant programming/scripting languages such as databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java development skills
• Familiarity with middleware, integration frameworks or message-oriented architectures (e.g. Kafka, MQ)
• Experience with source control (e.g. Git), CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks
• Understanding of data quality, logging and exception handling best practices in interface development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Experience with trading systems or core banking platforms and their integration points
• Exposure to financial instruments and post-trade workflows in securities lending and borrowing, repo
• Knowledge of the FTS FSTC solution (FINACE)
• Ability to work independently in a delivery-driven environment and communicate effectively with others
