Foreign exchange trader (m/f)
Glarner Kantonalbank is looking for a foreign exchange trader (m/f) to play an active role in shaping and developing the bank's trading business. The ideal candidate will have experience in foreign exchange and money markets as well as strong analytical skills and customer orientation.
Job description: Foreign exchange trader (m/f)
Your tasks:
- Execution of client orders and independent trading of foreign exchange within the limits
- Management of foreign currency holdings
- Trading and recording of money and capital market transactions
- Client trading in securities and derivatives
- Support with issues and capital increases
- Maintenance and expansion of the counterparty network / networking
- Administrative and proactive support in the Trading & Treasury department
Your profile:
- Higher education in the fields of banking & finance or economics
- Very good knowledge and many years of experience in foreign exchange and money markets
- Bloomberg or Telekurs knowledge desirable
- SIX-Repo license and ACI Diploma or willingness to obtain them
- Good and intact network of Swiss and international financial intermediaries
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Flair for systems and their integration/further development
- Good knowledge of English
