DevOps Engineer Data & Analytics (f/m/d)

Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer Data & Analytics (f/m/d) for our team in Zurich. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our DevOps team Atlas and help us shape the future of data virtualization.

Tasks

- Expanding our data virtualization layer based on the purchased Denodo product - Implementing new platform requirements and performing release upgrades - Connecting new data sources to the data virtualization layer - Ensuring operation (DevOps) and monitoring of the data virtualization platform - Providing IT support to departments in all aspects of the data virtualization platform and data connections, business intelligence, Git integration, and scheduling - Working closely with the decentralized BI&BA teams to coordinate requirements, define best practices, ensure data protection, and optimize performance

Requirements

- Degree in computer science or comparable training - Several years of experience with common databases (Oracle Exadata, MS SQL Server, SAP HANA, etc.) & SQL - Practical knowledge of data warehousing and ETL development - Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting - Analytical, solution-oriented approach to work, coupled with a high level of quality awareness and great commitment - Experience with Denodo software is an advantage - Experience in a Swiss financial institution is an advantage - Good communication skills in German and English
