DevOps Engineer, Linux & Platform Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the overall operation of our Linux-based servers and platforms
• Operating and further developing our automation and orchestration tools (GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes/OpenShift)

Your profile

• Completed education in computer science or an equivalent qualification
• Focus on Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering
• Extensive professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Platform Engineer
• Ideally, in a Red Hat-based environment
• Proficiency with OpenShift or Kubernetes, solid experience with Git, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Solid knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python or Go
• Ability to create maintainable code for tools, scripts, and automation
• Experience in designing and implementing APIs (e.g., REST, OpenAPI), ideally with a focus on authentication/authorization, logging, and monitoring
• Experience using automation and configuration management frameworks such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools
• A strong willingness to learn, openness to new technologies, and a passion for agile work methods
• Excellent German skills; good English skills are a plus
