Tasks

• Cloud & Platform Engineering
  • Setup, maintenance/expansion, and automation of our cloud and on-premises infrastructures
  • Further Development and Optimization of the Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Platforms
  • Development and pilot testing of modern deployment, automation, and deployment concepts
  • Management of technical configurations, tooling, deployment, and provisioning
• Automation & Continuous Improvement
  • Automating Recurring Deployments Using IAA Processes
  • Implementation of our application communication, architecture, and management
  • Optimization of Daily Operations, Blending, and System Processes
  • Development and Maintenance of a Stack-Based Infrastructure-as-Code Solution
  • Improvement and Implementation of Stability, Performance, and Operational Reliability
• Collaboration & DevOps-Oriented Culture
  • Close collaboration with development teams, IT operators, and other groups of specialists
  • Technical consulting and support for change and release activities
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of design and operational concepts

Requirements

• Completed training or a degree in computer science or comparable qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of automation, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and infrastructure as code
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and modern build management tools
• Knowledge of IaaS, VMware, or other virtualization platforms and orchestration
• Experience with platform DevOps/cloud methods, tools, and best practices
• Conflict resolution skills and the motivation to develop new solutions
• Knowledge of German
