Digital Customer Journey Expert, Consumer Lending
The Digital Customer Journey Expert at ING in Brussels is responsible for the continuous improvement and seamless experience of the digital customer journey in consumer lending. The role requires at least three years of experience as an IT product owner in the financial sector, as well as strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Tasks
- Exploring digital tools and leveraging green initiatives and HR to accurately anticipate customer needs and deliver a superior customer experience and journey.
- Participation in a team responsible for all digital solutions on the shared platform with Axa Health Lamin.
- Work in a self-organized, cross-border team with colleagues who have diverse backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Close collaboration with IT teams, IT architects, and IT engineers.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders and influencing our teams to achieve our strategic goals.
- Understanding and applying business principles and customer loyalty; gathering and synthesizing information from data and research on what actual customers expect.
- Ensure clear, structured, and comprehensive communication of new features to customers, stakeholders, executives, and groups and teams within the business unit.
- Continuous improvement and the elimination of friction in our new digital application.
- Redesigning the process in the development department to create the perfect proposal to achieve our growth goals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an IT product manager with a background in development in the financial sector, or an equivalent combination of business, methodological, and technical skills in a regulatory or customer-facing role.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
- IT knowledge related to product development or an equivalent combination of business, IT, and technical skills gained in an IT development or customer-facing role.
- Ability to interpret and use quantitative and qualitative data to design UX/UI, functional, and non-functional product requirements.
- Strong analytical skills for analyzing various market aspects and providing relevant recommendations for the product roadmap.
- Excellence in communication, with a refined oral and digital writing style.
- Planning and coordination skills tailored to the needs of the company.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently and with confidence.
- Ability to work “freestyle,” restoring the team’s spirit and sense of occasion, while carefully adhering to DPO processes.
