Director, Enterprise Architect Solution

Job description

As a member of our Enterprise Architecture team, you will work with our enterprise architects and technology architects to create the next generation of enterprise solutions that align with business strategy. This role reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Architecture. You must have a proven history of large-scale technology solutions that effectively address the business objectives of a complex enterprise. You must ensure that business strategy aligns with market and technology trends. You must proactively anticipate architectural implications and risks. You must define the vision, define the target state, analyze the current state, create roadmaps, govern the project portfolio, and collaborate with solution architects/engineers to migrate to the target state.

Tasks

The most important tasks include:

• Development of application, technology, and business architecture strategies
• Influencing the strategy and vision of decision-makers through clear communication and presentations
• Ensuring alignment between technology and business strategies
• Creation of multi-year application and business architecture roadmaps
• Ensuring the successful introduction and implementation of the target state
• Review investments to ensure they align with the target state and roadmaps

Requirements

The most important requirements include:

• Current experience in software development
• Extensive experience in technology architecture and/or enterprise architecture
• Expertise in Azure services, including messaging and event-driven services, API management, Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, and Azure Monitoring
• Experience in developing enterprise AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs) and large-scale architected solutions
• Ability to create reference implementations, reusable accelerators, and working examples to support engineering teams
• Experience in development languages and code source frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, .Net, C#, Python, ReactJS, etc.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data platforms such as Azure SQL, Azure PostgreSQL, Chicago, SQL Server, CosmosDB
• Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and/or Zachman
