Director, Institutional Sales - Foundations, Endowments, and Healthcare

Tasks

The role of Healthcare Relationship Manager involves developing and maintaining relationships with existing healthcare clients and prospects in the Americas and guiding them through the investment process. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a sales strategy for healthcare clients and prospects as part of the team
• Identifying and pursuing investment opportunities through consultative dialogues with investors
• Development of a coherent and consistent narrative regarding the competitive advantage, investment philosophy, process, and performance of the healthcare business
• Further development of our analytical and strategic support services to ensure success in the healthcare sector
• Developing Product Knowledge About BlackRock's Investment Options
• Collaborating with partners within BlackRock to meet clients' needs and goals
• Managing support staff assigned to specific accounts to serve customers and implement the sales strategy
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the team's overall development

Requirements

Requirements include:

• 10–15 years of experience in institutional relationship management and fund sales, preferably with a focus on exchange-traded funds
• Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of traditional and alternative investment products
• In-depth industry knowledge, including a clear understanding of the key regulatory and financial challenges in the healthcare sector
• An established network of industry connections
• Degree in a related field (economics, finance, or accounting)
• An advanced degree (CFA) is an asset
