Director/Vice President, Middle East Sales
The job posting seeks a Director/VP of Sales for the Middle East who will be responsible for acquiring clients and managing relationships with institutional investors. The successful candidate will be based in Abu Dhabi and will help develop the business strategy for the Middle East.
Job description
The primary responsibility of this role is to join a understaffed team and make a significant contribution to future growth in the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising DB and LP capital for all existing and future funds managed or marketed by Man Alternative Investments.Tasks
The tasks include:- All aspects of managing and supporting existing allocations across the full range of Man's investment products and solutions
- Origination and coverage strategy for selected clients and prospects in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa, as well as coordination with sales teams to engage clients
- Identifying, developing, and maintaining effective professional relationships with key investment contacts among institutional investors (pension funds, family offices) and financial institutions (banks, EIIIs, and multi-strategy funds) in the Middle East
Specific responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:- Structured Management of Assigned Accounts
- Contribute to the development of the overall institutional business development strategy and assist in the implementation of the direct sales strategy
- Providing broad access to the latest investment products
- Delivering effective, professional presentations on the agreed-upon products
- Take responsibility for ongoing relationships with new and existing customers in the target regions
- Planning and managing events such as seminars for prospective clients and participating in relevant industry events
