Distribution Compliance Contractor - 6-month contract

Nomura is seeking a compliance contractor in London for its asset management division to review valuation materials and client communications for FSA compliance for a period of six months.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Reviewing valuation materials and customer communications for compliance with FSA requirements, as well as identifying and resolving compliance concerns.
  • Coordinate with the relevant teams on compliance matters, customer inquiries, and any disputes or concerns that arise.

Requirements and Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight business deadlines.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Careful and thorough—meticulous attention to detail when inspecting materials.
  • Clear communication – the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in plain language to colleagues in various areas of the company.
  • Responsible and reliable—committed to meeting deadlines and providing timely responses to support business and customer needs.
