Early Career Talent Specialist
The Early Career Talent Specialist develops and implements early career talent programs on a global scale, including hiring, training and talent development. The position is part of the Learning & Development team at EFG International, a global private banking firm.
Job description
Tasks
- Early career strategy and execution:
- Lead EFG early career talent development programs (for graduates, interns and apprentices) by designing, implementing and developing our programs globally, ensuring alignment with program requirements and regional needs.
- Early career talent acquisition:
- Managing the entire recruitment process for graduates, interns and apprentices worldwide.
- Work closely with line managers and HR business partners to understand hiring needs and align early career talent strategies with workforce planning objectives.
- Develop and scale university engagement strategies, including building long-term partnerships with key universities and participating in job fairs and campus events.
- Early career skill development, engagement and performance monitoring:
- Develop a comprehensive onboarding process for a smooth transition of early career talent into the organization, ensuring a first-class candidate experience.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops and mentoring programs to enhance the readiness and skills of early career talent.
- Track and evaluate the progress and performance of early career talent, providing feedback and support for their career development.
- Improvement of early career programs:
- Gather feedback through surveys and touch points; analyze findings to evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide decision making and program adjustments.
- Global learning and development initiatives:
- Support in the design, development and implementation of global talent development processes (including succession planning, talent management, etc.).
- Assist with internal talent development initiatives to foster growth within the organization.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development, business or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in early career talent acquisition or development within structured HR departments of international organizations.
- People and client focused with a real passion for people development and outstanding customer service. Strong numerical and local market expertise.
- Proactive and positive attitude with resilient energy and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience working with multiple stakeholders across functions and countries.
- Strong communication skills; able to structure important messages and information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills; able to work independently, effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English (mandatory) and fluency in at least one language among Italian, French and German.
- Solid skills in MS Office programs.
