Early Career Talent Specialist

The Early Career Talent Specialist develops and implements programs to attract, develop and retain talent on a global scale at EFG International, a global private banking firm. The role involves leading talent development programs, managing hiring processes and driving talent priorities within the organization.

Job description

Tasks

  • Early Career Strategy and Execution: Lead EFG's early career talent development programs (for graduates, interns and apprentices) by designing, implementing and enhancing our programs globally, ensuring alignment with program requirements and regional needs.
  • Early Career Talent Acquisition:
    • Managing the entire recruitment process for graduates, interns and apprentices worldwide.
    • Work closely with line managers and HR business partners to understand hiring needs and align early career talent strategies with work planning objectives.
    • Developing and scaling university engagement strategies, including building long-term partnerships with key universities and participating in job fairs and campus events.
  • Early Career Skill Development, Engagement & Performance Monitoring:
    • Develop a diverse and comprehensive onboarding process for a smooth transition of early career talent into the organization, ensuring a world-class candidate experience.
    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops and mentoring programs to improve the readiness and skills of Early Career Talents.
    • Track and evaluate the progress and performance of Early Career Talents, providing feedback and support for their career development.
  • Early Career Programs Improvement:
    • Gather feedback through surveys and touch points; analyze findings to evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide decision-making and program adjustments.
  • Global learning and development initiatives:
    • Support the design, development and implementation of global talent development processes (including succession planning, talent management, etc.).
    • Assist with internal talent development initiatives to foster growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development, business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in early career talent acquisition or development within structured HR departments of international companies.
  • People and client focused with a real passion for developing people and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strategic thinker and results-oriented with a mix of analytical expertise.
  • Proactive and positive attitude with resilient energy and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience working with multiple stakeholders across functions and countries.
  • Strong communication skills; able to structure important messages and information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to work independently, effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (mandatory) and fluency in at least one of the languages Italian, French and German.
  • Solid skills in MS Office programs.
