Your contribution

• Developing basic principles on international economic policy issues with a focus on Switzerland's foreign trade sector, and developing and representing the SNB's position on these issues;
• Independently conducting analyses and writing and publishing research papers on international issues relevant to the SNB;
• Advising the bank's management on all matters within this area of responsibility and preparing for international meetings.

Your knowledge and experience

• Completed doctoral studies in economics, preferably with a focus on international macroeconomics;
• Research experience and strong interest in international macroeconomic issues;
• Strong analytical and editorial skills;
• In-depth knowledge of statistical and econometric methods and experience in analyzing large data sets;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as very good German or French skills.
