Job title: EMEA Head of EMIR & Central Bank Reporting (Vice President)

The Regulatory Operations department is seeking an EMIR & Central Banks Regulatory Reporting expert at VP level. This includes monitoring IBU controls and processes, interacting with regulatory changes, monitoring industry forums, and monitoring Q&As/market watches.

Responsibilities

- Monitoring and progress reporting to the senior management team and stakeholders, regionally and globally - Monitoring regular meetings and reporting to/with all stakeholders to keep them informed and manage expectations - Continuous improvement of processes and control environment - Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory reporting environment and ensuring compliance with EMIR & Central Bank reporting - Representing Operations in various industry forums - Establishing and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with key business and corporate stakeholders to understand and align strategies - Proactive management of breach processes, including technology remediation and back-testing

Key areas for success

- Excellent understanding of EMIR & Central Bank regulatory reporting requirements in the financial market, including best practice controls and processes - Ability to collaborate with teams in different locations - Strong stakeholder management with the ability to prioritize resources and focus on key areas - Ability to communicate important news through all media and escalate potential risks in a timely manner - Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to collaborate with teams in different locations to drive the agenda forward - Proactive attitude with a "can-do" mindset and the ability to manage requests with a flexible and dynamic approach - Project management experience is desirable, but formal qualifications are not required; however, the candidate must demonstrate successful participation in important programs

- Experience in the financial industry in a regulatory reporting role
