Employee Relations Expert | HR Systems & Reporting @ING Bank
As an Employee Relations Expert for HR Systems & Reporting at ING Bank in Romania, you will analyze HR data from systems such as Workday and Echommis to provide data-driven insights to stakeholders. In doing so, you will optimize reporting processes, ensure data quality, and work closely with HR teams to support informed decision-making.
The position
- This role focuses on understanding HR applications (Echommis & Workday), establishing the right connections between systems, and translating data into insights; it also involves quantifying assumptions, assessing impacts, and ensuring that decisions are based on facts.
About the Team
- You will be part of the HR Systems & Specialized Support team, working closely with Employee Relations Experts (HR Operations teams, Recruitment, Payroll), ING Business Partners, and other support functions.
- The team serves as a key point of reference for HR data, reports, and system support for HR and business stakeholders, providing data-driven insights, correlations, and explanations of HR-related figures.
- Help improve reporting processes, data quality, and work practices by investigating discrepancies, identifying root causes, and assessing their impacts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for topics related to the E-Connect system within the scope of Employee Relations.
- Work closely with Payroll, HRBP, and other teams to ensure consistent and reliable HR data outputs.

- Ability to assess risk and impact, resolve quality, compliance, and stakeholder issues, and escalate appropriately when something doesn’t seem right;
- Adding value for our stakeholders by presenting findings, taking action, and following up to ensure that corrective actions are completed;
- Ability to understand complex information and work independently while meeting recurring deadlines (monthly/quarterly reporting);
- A collaborative approach and experience working with multiple internal stakeholders;
- A high-impact team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both within their own team and with the rest of the broader Employee Relations group.
