EMS Business Analyst - Platform Transformation

Tasks

As an EMS Business Analyst, you are responsible for creating and maintaining sustainable products (services, applications, or tools) that meet customer needs throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your main responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for EMS improvements and platform transitions
• Developing comprehensive business specifications, including epics, initiatives, objectives, and key results, in partnership with product managers and product owners
• Conducting gap analyses to understand current EMS functionalities and execution workflows and compare them with future platform capabilities
• Translating the product strategy into actionable deliverables such as user stories, process diagrams, acceptance criteria, and traceable requirements documentation
• Coordinate the implementation of the new Global EMS platform, working closely with external suppliers, IT teams, and control functions to ensure timely and compliant delivery

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• At least 7 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in investment banking or capital markets, with proven experience in trading systems
• In-depth understanding of Execution Management Systems (EMS) and front-to-back trading workflows
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and regulatory authorities with clarity and precision
• The ability to influence others without direct authority, navigate matrix-style organizations, and build consensus across diverse groups
• Remaining focused under pressure, while effectively managing shifting priorities and uncertainties, all while maintaining a commitment to delivery excellence
