EMS Business Analyst - Platform Transformation

Tasks

As an EMS Business Analyst, you are responsible for creating and maintaining sustainable products (services, applications, or tools) that meet customer needs throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your main responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements for EMS improvements and platform transitions.
• Develop comprehensive business specifications, including epics, initiatives, objectives, and key results, in partnership with product managers and product owners.
• Conducting gap analyses to understand current EMS functionalities and execution workflows and compare them with future platform capabilities.
• Translating the product strategy into actionable deliverables such as user stories, process diagrams, acceptance criteria, and traceable requirements documentation.
• Coordinate the implementation of the new global EMS platform, working closely with external suppliers, IT teams, and control functions to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced business analyst with in-depth knowledge of execution management systems and wealth management trading workflows. The requirements for this position are:

• At least 7 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in investment banking or the capital markets, with proven experience in trading systems.
• In-depth understanding of execution management systems (EMS) and front-to-back trading workflows.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage senior stakeholders, technical teams, and regulatory authorities with clarity and precision.
• The ability to influence others without direct authority, navigate matrix-style organizations, and build consensus across diverse groups.
• The ability to remain focused under pressure, manage shifting priorities and uncertainty, while maintaining a focus on delivery excellence.
