Job description

The position of ENERGY TRANSITION ADVISORY ASSOCIATE involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting research on relevant electricity markets, preparing analyses, market models, price forecasts, and other relevant cost and revenue assumptions to evaluate investment opportunities in renewable energy and the energy transition on an international scale.
• Collecting and managing data in target markets, as well as researching and interpreting government policies, market design, and mechanisms to support the energy transition.
• Preparing databases and repositories of information on target markets to develop modeling capabilities within the Southern European team.
• Regular collaboration with the Corporate Finance team to leverage synergies from joint efforts with target clients in the energy and industrial sectors.
• Communicating findings through a combination of discussions, reports, and presentations.

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• 3–4 years of experience in energy consulting or transaction services at leading companies.
• Extensive knowledge of the energy sector, experience in forecasting, energy consulting, market modeling, or related experience is highly valued.
• Strong interest in the energy transition.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
• Creative, curious, and always looking for intellectual challenges.
• Data processing skills – the role involves managing large volumes of data for analysis and requires advanced Excel skills.
• Able to work under pressure and in a context of changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
• Proficiency in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
