Engineering Lead - secure custody platform

Tasks

For this position, we are seeking an experienced engineer (with over 7 years of experience) who has extensive hands-on experience in software development and managing development teams. You will lead a team of highly qualified engineers to develop the next generation of digital platforms for trading, investing in, and safeguarding digital assets.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical lead and "enabler" (team lead) for a development team - Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are understood and that the roadmap is delivered on time with the expected high level of quality - Perform technical analysis and design of requirements - Write clean, modular, maintainable, and robust code to implement the desired requirements - Take full responsibility for the product from conception through implementation, documentation, deployment, operation, and support

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience leading a development team (as a tech lead or team lead) - Solid experience as a software developer (Golang, Java, Rust), with a strong understanding of the cloud-native ecosystem - Solid experience with modern software development practices (continuous delivery, deployment, testing, etc.) - Solid experience with software architecture and system architecture - Experience with C, embedded systems, or reverse engineering - Experience with Linux, networking, security, cryptography, distributed databases - Experience with production containerized runtimes (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CRI-O) and software-defined infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus - Experience with Angular, TypeScript, or Flutter is a plus - Experience with blockchain and DeFi ecosystems is a plus - Experience with trading, finance, and digital assets is a plus - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively - A sense of urgency and ownership of the product - Intellectually curious, passionate, and resourceful - Focus on quality and simplicity, attention to detail, and delighting our users - Motivation to solve problems in unique and innovative ways
