Engineering Lead - secure custody platform
Taurus SA is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead for the development of a secure digital asset custody platform to lead a team of highly skilled engineers and work on the development of a next generation digital platform. The position requires 7+ years of experience in software development and team leadership.
Job description
Tasks
- Act as technical manager and team lead for a development team
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product requirements are understood and the roadmap is delivered on time with the expected high level of quality
- Perform technical analysis and design of requirements
- Write clean, modular, maintainable and robust code to implement the desired requirements
- Take full responsibility for product design through to implementation, documentation, deployment, operation and support
Requirements
- Experience in leading a development team (as Tech Lead or Team Lead)
- Solid experience as a software developer (GoLang, Java, Rust), good understanding of the cloud-native ecosystem
- Solid experience with modern software development practices (continuous delivery, deployment, testing, etc.)
- Solid experience with software architecture and system architecture
- Experience with C, embedded systems or reverse engineering
- Experience with Linux, networking, security, cryptography, distributed systems, distributed databases
- Experience with productive containerized runtimes (Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, CRI-O) and software-defined infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript or Flutter is a plus
- Experience with blockchain and DeFi ecosystems is a plus
- Experience with trading, finance and digital assets is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with others
- A sense of urgency and responsibility for the product
