Enterprise IT Technology Architect (m/f/d)

Zurich Cantonal Bank is seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Technology Architect (m/f/d) to shape the evolution of technologies, platforms, and cloud services within the bank and take on an advisory and steering role in the design of the IT landscape. The successful candidate should have experience in the financial services sector and knowledge of modern architecture frameworks and key technologies.

Job description

Enterprise IT Technology Architect (m/f/d) wanted. Our central IT architecture team works closely with our stakeholders to shape the evolution of technologies, platforms, and cloud services.

Tasks

  • Advising stakeholders on the use of technologies and the technical architecture (e.g. with regard to the recoverability of the bank's critical functions)
  • Developing target visions and technology radars for the strategic advancement of IT architecture
  • Controlling the lifecycle of technologies and platforms
  • Supporting stakeholders in the transition from non-standard to standard technologies
  • Maintaining and further developing data-driven architecture approaches

Requirements

  • Completed training or further education in the field of (business) informatics or comparable professional experience
  • Several years of experience as an enterprise IT architect/architect in complex IT landscapes in the financial services sector
  • Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), capability-based modeling, and working in agile environments (e.g., with SCRUM, SAFE) is an advantage.
  • Broad expertise in on-premises and cloud infrastructure technologies, IT solutions & reference architectures
  • Knowledge of key technologies in these areas (e.g. Azure Services, hyper-converged server infrastructure, Kubernetes, application servers, DB technologies, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge of German (at least C1)
