Enterprise IT Technology Architect (m/f/d)

Job description

Our central IT architecture team, which currently has just under 20 employees, works closely with our stakeholders to shape the evolution of technologies, platforms, and cloud services used within the bank. In doing so, we lay the foundation for the bank's technical innovation and resilience, among other things.

Tasks

You will take on an advisory and steering role in the design of our IT landscape within the central enterprise IT architecture. Your tasks will include:

• Advising stakeholders on the use of technologies and the technical architecture (e.g. with regard to the recoverability of the bank's critical functions)
• Developing target visions and technology radars for the strategic advancement of IT architecture
• technology portfolios
• Controlling the lifecycle of technologies and platforms
• Supporting stakeholders in the transition from non-standard to standard technologies
• Maintaining and further developing data-driven architecture approaches

Requirements

Your profile should meet the following requirements:

• Completed training or further education in the field of (business) informatics or comparable professional experience
• Several years of experience as an enterprise IT architect/architect in complex IT landscapes in the financial services sector
• Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), capability-based modeling and working in agile environments (e.g. with SCRUM, SAFe) an advantage
• Broad expertise in on-premises and cloud infrastructure technologies, IT solutions & reference architectures
• Knowledge of key technologies in these areas (e.g. Azure Services, hyper-converged server infrastructure, Kubernetes, application servers, DB technologies, etc.)
• You score points with your intrinsic enthusiasm for understanding and solving tasks and IT solutions as a whole
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1)
