EPM OneStream Developer/Business Data Analyst

Job Description

The EPM OneStream Developer/Business Data Analyst will be part of the Group Performance Measurement, Budgeting & Reporting team in Lugano and will contribute to the development and implementation of an integrated planning, reporting, and performance review process to facilitate value-driven business decisions. In the role of EPM OneStream Developer, the employee will oversee the ongoing maintenance and development of our existing OneStream planning platform. In the role of EPM OneStream Developer/Business Data Analyst, the employee will support performance measurement activities by conducting granular analyses of the drivers of financial performance and by providing insights into opportunities for value creation.

Main tasks

• EPM OneStream Developer
• Business Analyst and Power User of MI Data
• Development and maintenance of data models for analysis and forecasting
• Creating and finalizing dashboards and presentations for senior management
• Active role in business performance dialogues
• Active collaboration with the Strategy and Business Development unit during the budgeting and forecasting process
• Development and design of management information reports and simulations using data from the bank’s various management information systems to identify opportunities for business growth
• Developing strong relationships with business managers and financial controllers to support the planning and control partnership

Requirements

• Professional experience in EPM and business intelligence in the financial industry
• OneStream Software; EPM Applications Maintenance and Development Specialist
• Ability to understand large datasets and experience with data modeling to deliver accurate data analyses
• Power user of OneStream, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Excel macros, VBA, Python, and SAS Enterprise
• Ability to automate data extraction and reporting
• A quick learner, precise, and efficient
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unpredictable work demands
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Fluent in Italian and English
