Job description: Equities Quant Trader

Tasks

• Trading in US/Latin American/Canadian stocks (spots, futures, FX, options)
• Member of the Boston-based Electronic Markets Trading Team, responsible for systematic trading strategies for US and Latin American stock markets
• Contribution to improvements in signal development, portfolio construction, risk management, and trading
• Monitoring the development of new trading platforms, white papers, and technology
• Qualitative and quantitative analysis to improve the performance of our systematic strategies
• Monitoring live trading and responding to changing market conditions
• Developing and maintaining code together with our quant team
• Support for various proprietary algorithm improvements and ad hoc experiments

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in equity quant trading
• Experience in systematic trading of FX, futures, options
• Detailed understanding of the market structure in America (developed and emerging markets)
• Expertise in a high-level language such as Python or C++
• Technical skills related to trading, data routing, and transaction cost analysis
• Ability to extract actionable information from data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset
• Background/degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related quantitative field

• Anticipated base salary range: $160,000 - $300,000
