Overview

BlackRock is seeking an Equity Capital Markets Associate to join the US ECM team in New York.

Tasks

• Daily management and maintenance of ECM models and databases
• Review and analysis of market data to support deal execution
• Expansion and development of unique investment opportunities
• Learning and managing various compliance and business reporting systems and processes
• Timely and accurate reporting of metrics to determine the effectiveness and impact of outreach
• Fundamental company analysis to promote investment ideas
• Supporting the team in evaluating unique investment opportunities

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in the financial services sector, ideally with a background in M&A, investment banking or asset management
• Ability for financial modeling, fundamental analysis and valuation
• Passion for investing and financial markets
• Understanding the financial services sector
• Natural curiosity and willingness to learn

Technical skills

• Proficient in technology
• Desired: VBA, SQS
