Equity Product Specialist
The Equity Product Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Zurich serves as a strategic liaison between portfolio managers, sales, and clients to drive the growth of equity funds. The role involves creating marketing materials, presenting the funds, and leading product development initiatives.
Your role
As an Equity Product Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be part of the JSS Equity Team and serve as a strategic liaison between portfolio managers, sales, and clients to drive asset growth for our equity funds.
Your tasks
- Translation of thematic, macroeconomic, and individual stock analyses, as well as portfolio positioning, into marketing materials to promote the J. Safra Sarasin equity funds
- Presentation of Our Equity Funds for Internal and External Audiences
- Leading strategic product development initiatives such as new fund launches, fund repositioning, or market intelligence analyses
- Participation in and contributions to expert group meetings, portfolio review meetings, and new stock initiation meetings. Development into a subject matter expert on investment trends related to our equity funds
- Development and maintenance of fund-related marketing documents and tools; automation of tasks and processes
Your profile
- A college degree in economics, finance, engineering, or a related field, with at least 3–5 years of experience as a Product Specialist, Client Portfolio Manager, Equity Analyst, Sector Specialist, or in a similar position. CFA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- A passion for investing and a deep understanding of the stock markets as well as macroeconomic and thematic drivers. Excellent Microsoft Office skills; strong technical skills, including Bloomberg, programming, and agent-based AI skills, are a plus.
- Ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear narratives for various target audiences, supported by excellent communication and presentation skills
- A hands-on approach, combined with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to take on responsibility
- Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
