State Street Investment Management is seeking a content strategist and writer to develop and publish content on ETFs and investment strategies for the position of ETF Content Writer. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills and experience in the financial sector, specifically asset management and ETFs.

The ETF Content Writer position is part of the State Street Investment Management team, one of the largest asset managers in the world. The role involves creating, editing and publishing content on asset and sector investing and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).The role
We are looking for a Content Strategist and Writer to join our ETF and Sector Investing team. The role requires strategic thinking, ideation, cross-functional collaboration and operational execution. You will be responsible for developing and managing content that supports our sector ETF business.Tasks
- Develop and execute content strategies that align with the business objectives and needs of retail and professional investors
- Collaboration with global stakeholders from strategy, research, investment, marketing, sales and digital teams
- Creation and management of various content formats, including articles, e-letters, infographics, videos, web cards, emails and social media posts
- Oversee content workflows from conception to production, including typographic, compliance/legal approvals and publishing
- Content management via platforms such as Akamai, Workfront and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Ensuring that content complies with US legal standards, accessibility standards and regulatory requirements
- Work with the digital team to regularly assess and report on the performance of sector ETF content
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong understanding of voice, tone and style
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content and align with specific marketing and sales objectives
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with Acxiom, Workfront and AEM
- Convenience with data and analytics; ability to tailor content to different audiences and use cases
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to work across time zones and teams
- Focus on results with a track record of delivering quality content on time
Education and preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in financial services, especially in asset management and ETF products
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial content, especially for registered products and FINRA requirements
- Experience in writing for various investor audiences, with a strong focus on private investors
