About the team

The ETF Product Platform team is part of BlackRock Global Markets & Index Investments (BGMI), which encompasses index investments, markets, liquidity & financing, and platform & strategy. BGMI delivers through: * World-class expertise in investment knowledge, markets, risk management, and product development * Integrated technology teams that develop groundbreaking intellectual property to enhance scalability, quality, and risk control * Market leadership focused on accessibility, resilience, transparency, and low costs for investors The ETF Product Platform team designs and delivers scalable products and operating models across the ETF value chain. The team develops workflows, infrastructure, and market-building initiatives to enable innovation within the ETF business.

Role Overview

This role is part of the U.S. ETF Platform Team and drives platform and market transformation to support BlackRock’s ETF innovation and growth agenda. The candidate is expected to leverage their expertise to further develop the ETF platform and the industry. The role requires strong collaboration both within the company and externally to design scalable, risk-focused solutions and support leading industry engagement.

key tasks

This person will be responsible for the following tasks: *

Leading the evolution and rearchitecture of the ETF platform to support product growth, scalability, and cost efficiency

Designing ETF operating models and workflows for new strategies or exposures within an ETF portfolio

*

Developing the ecosystem to support the scaling and trading of our ETF product portfolio and ensure that ETF participants, such as authorized participants (APs) and market makers, can effectively support new products

Further development of primary market models to enhance investor protection, liquidity, economic efficiency, and regulatory alignment

*

Integrating ETF market expertise into platform development to deliver innovative and scalable solutions across the entire ETF lifecycle
