Appraiser or real estate appraiser
BCV is seeking a real estate appraiser for its credit management department who will appraise residential and small-scale investment properties and provide expert advice on complex cases. Ideally, the candidate will have legal and technical knowledge of the real estate sector, as well as experience in the consumer lending business.
Vos missions principales
- As part of the credit approval process, and by entering data into the internal appraisal tool, perform real estate appraisals of single-family residential properties (single-family homes and apartments) and small investment properties
- Conduct, within the scope of the granted authority, real estate appraisals of these same properties when the automated valuation cannot be used (for example, when subject to the LDRP or a specific legal framework).
- Support and advise front-line managers by providing technical expertise
- Consult with expert colleagues or real estate experts on the most complex cases
Votre profil
- Knowledge of the legal and technical aspects of the real estate sector
- Knowledge of Consumer Lending
