Execution Desk Officer (CDD) (M/F)

Job description

The Execution Desk ensures the proper execution of orders (stocks, bonds, derivatives, and structured products) for all units of the C. A. Huret Group. The Execution Desk is seeking an Execution Desk Officer (m/f) who will be responsible for executing orders on a daily basis and as quickly as possible.

Tasks and responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
  • Continuous and proactive tracking of order acceptance across various channels and efficient execution across various markets following validation by authorized brokers;
  • Entering transactions into the systems within the specified time frames and in accordance with applicable procedures;
  • Executing and monitoring orders in accordance with the guidelines and rules set forth in the manual (admissibility, exceptions, etc.) and proactively communicating with the wealth managers;
  • Compliance with the financial institution’s legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, procedures, and recommendations for the prevention of money laundering and fraud.

Location

The position is based in Europe, in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.

Requirements

The requirements for candidates are:
  • Education/Specialization: Bachelor's degree + 5 years; degree in engineering or business with a specialization in finance;
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent knowledge of market techniques and operations (order execution, problem-solving);
  • Knowledge of industry products and systems (back-office market, counterparties, settlement);
  • Good knowledge of back-office procedures;
  • Strong interest in the financial markets and various asset classes.

Profile

The ideal profile includes:
  • A strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to synthesize information;
  • Ability to focus on multiple projects at the same time;
  • Flexibility and availability to adjust working hours to the stock exchanges' trading hours.

Information technology tools

The computer skills requirements are:
  • Proficiency in VBA, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and information and trading systems.

Languages

The language requirements are:
  • Fluency in French and English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
