Execution Desk Officer (CDD) (M/F)

The Execution Desk ensures the proper execution of orders (stocks, bonds, derivatives, and structured products) for all Group entities. Your duties and responsibilities in this role will include, among other things:

• Continuous and proactive monitoring of orders and anomalies across various channels and in connection with executions in various markets following validation of approved trades;
• The timely recording of transactions made in the systems in accordance with current procedures;
• Reinstating order confirmation once checks have been completed and in coordination with the Middle Office (controls, anomalies, etc.) and proactively communicating with wealth managers;
• Compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, as well as procedures and trading desk guidelines regarding the prevention of financial crime and fraud.

Candidate criteria

• Education / Specialization: 5 years of higher education* Engineering or business studies with a specialization in finance
• Minimum experience required: 3–5 years
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

Compétences recherchées

• Excellent knowledge of trading techniques and operations (execution of trading strategies; in-depth knowledge of markets and/or trading activities (market risk, counterparty risk, settlement risk))
• Good knowledge of financial services offerings related to the prevention of financial crime and fraud
• A keen interest in financial markets and various asset classes
• A strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, team spirit, and flexibility
• Practical and operational common sense
• Able to stay focused under pressure, analyze and solve problems
• Flexible and available to work during the exchanges' business hours

Computer tools and languages

• Proficiency in VBA, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and information and trading systems
• Languages: Fluent in French and English; knowledge of another European language is a plus
