Execution Management Support Specialist - Trading / SaaS & Vendors (Full-Time)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Execution Management Support Specialist to support and optimize the trading processes and technical infrastructure of the trading desks. The ideal candidate has experience in trading support, programming skills, and a solid understanding of trading platforms and protocols.
Tasks
- Analyzing FIX messages, tracking order routes, and performing root cause analyses
- Collaborating with traders, technology teams, and external vendors to maintain a stable trading connection
- Support for basic scripting or programming tasks to automate routing, perform checks, and analyze log files
Your profiles
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Financial Engineering or Programming (preferred)
- Experience in trading support or electronic execution workflows
- Strong understanding of the FIX protocol and order routing mechanisms
- A solid understanding of Tenosys T24 (architecture and business workflows) is a major advantage
- Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, Bash)
- Familiarity with electronic trading platforms: TradeSmart, MarketAxess, TSOX, Bloomberg EMSX/TOMS, TradeWeb
- A solid understanding of market microstructure and electronic execution workflows
- Detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and comfortable supporting traders in time-sensitive environments
