Execution Management Support Specialist - Trading / SaaS & Vendors
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Execution Management Support Specialist to assist the trading department with trade execution and the maintenance of trading platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in trading support or electronic execution workflows and a solid understanding of FIX protocols and trading platforms.
Tasks
The role of Execution Management Support Specialist focuses on supporting our buy-side trading desks. The primary focus is on ensuring smooth order routing, the stability of execution workflows, and the rapid resolution of issues.Your requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology or a related field
- Financial technology or programming (preferred)
- Experience in trading support or electronic execution workflows
- Strong understanding of the FIX protocol and order routing mechanisms
- A solid understanding of Temenos T24 (architecture and business workflows) is a major advantage
- Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, Bash)
- Familiarity with electronic trading platforms: TradeSmart, MarketAxess, TSOX, Bloomberg EMSX/TOMS, TradeWeb
- A solid understanding of market microstructure and electronic execution workflows
- Detail-oriented, quick-thinking, and comfortable supporting dealers in time-sensitive environments
- FIX certification and CFA or similar qualifications are preferred
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is preferred
